Abstract

This study examines the impact of the use of the Independent Curriculum Teaching Module on students' learning motivation at SDN 060866. The teaching module, as a learning tool designed to support flexible and student-centered teaching and learning processes, is the main focus of this study. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study were homeroom teachers of grade 5 at SDN 060866. The results of the study revealed that despite challenges in teacher adaptation to the new module format and the diversity of student abilities, the Independent Curriculum Teaching Module proved effective in increasing students' learning motivation. Students showed increased enthusiasm, activeness, and involvement in the learning process through various interesting activities such as projects and group discussions. Students' responses to the teaching module were very positive, with significant increases in their involvement and confidence. Overall, the Independent Curriculum Teaching Module has a positive impact on students' learning motivation, although further training and support are needed for teachers to optimize its implementation.
