Analysis of Teaching Module Suitability with Basic Competenciesin the Merdeka Curriculum at SD Negeri 060866East Medan

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia presents challenges for teachers in designing appropriate teaching modules that align with basic competencies. This study aims to analyze the suitability of teaching modules used at SD Negeri 060866 Medan Timur with the competencies outlined in the curriculum. A qualitative approach was employed, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis to gather data from teachers and assess the modules. The findings reveal that 70% of the analyzed modules meet the necessary criteria for alignment with the curriculum, while 30% require significant improvements. Teachers reported challenges such as lack of training and resources impacting their ability to develop effective modules. This research highlights the need for enhanced support and training for educators to improve the quality of teaching modules, ultimately contributing to more effective learning outcomes for students in primary education
