This study aims to thoroughly explore the use of picture story media in enhancing Indonesian language skills among early childhood learners. Picture story media is chosen because it effectively captures children's attention through a combination of engaging visuals and text, making the language learning process more accessible and enjoyable. The research method applied is a literature review with a qualitative approach, analyzing various sources such as academic journals, articles, books, and previous research findings. Data collection was carried out systematically through reputable academic databases to ensure the validity of the information. The results indicate that picture story media is effective in developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in young children. Furthermore, this media aids in enhancing imagination, memory retention, and vocabulary acquisition. Teachers play a crucial role in implementing this media through creative and interactive strategies, tailored to the developmental characteristics of young learners. Therefore, picture story media proves to be an innovative and effective tool in teaching the Indonesian language to early childhood students.
